It was a long abandoned project that I was working on that is more or less craigslist, only driven towards just the Web / Technology specific community. It can be utilized somewhat as a social network, but it’s main intention is for those looking for work to find and for those needing help to find it.
I’ve finally completely re-vamped it. It is very much in Beta and has lots of work do be done on it, but I invite everyone to check it out.

As a freelance Web & Graphic Designer I work from home and yet I work with people all around the World via the marvelous beast that is the internet. So naturally, I use PayPal and honestly wouldn’t consider using anything else, clients/customers have come to expect to pay via PayPal and quite frankly even if you don’t like PayPal, some clients we’ll walk away if you don’t except payment via PayPal because they will only pay via PayPal.
A lot lately I’ve been noticing some increasing problems with the design industry. Mostly I would like to address the issues I’m seeing with clients (or potential clients) not wanting to sign on to projects in the standard/professional way, they are asking for work before pay and only paying if the work is satisfactory out of fear of risk.
NEW Category: pro-bono / economy computer
It’s a very obvious and huge problem with the computer and creative services categories that people are asking for free, equity or very low-paying work from freelancers.
There isn’t necessarily anything wrong with this, some freelancers are willing to take this kind of work. However, there should be a new category created;
pro-bono / economy computer (or something along those lines)
to separate paying and non-paying gigs. So, basically if someone is asking for free help, a partnership or aren’t willing to pay $20+ an hour they would post in this category instead. Please help out fellow freelancers and hopefully we can make this happen.
